The director of “Złota”. Documentary and short film director, author of the award-winning “Universam Grochów” (Maciej Szumowski Award at the 58th Krakow Film Festival, Grand Prix at the Kameralne Lato 2018 festival, audience award at the Warsaw Film Festival) – a tale about the passing of time and seemingly marginalized people who don’t fit into a modern metropolis. He made several documentaries about music, including “Bandmasters”, “Polska – Path of Dance”, and the renowned futuristic music film “Elektro_sonda” with the participation of several leading Polish electronic groups (Kamp, Rysy, Bokka, and others). Knittel also authored a documentary miniseries “BLOK.” about high-rise neighborhoods in Poland, which premiered in the spring of 2018.
