director of the film "Process". Born on 5/9/1964 in Baranovici (USSR). Sergei grew up in Kiev, and igraduated from the Kiev Polytechnic with a degree in Applied Mathematics. In 1997 Sergei graduated from the Russian State Institute of Cinematography (VGIK) in Moscow. Loznitsa has directed 20 internationally acclaimed documentaries and 4 feature films, all of which were premiered at the Cannes Film Festival. In 2013, Loznitsa launched a film production company ATOMS & VOID. He is active both in feature and documentary genres.
