Chopin’s Nose Competition juror. Deputy director of Warsaw’s Museum of Modern Art, Velez has been associated with this institution from its inception in 2007. Former longtime journalist with the “Przekrój” magazine, where he wrote on art, architecture, and social issues. His articles have appeared in Polish and international papers. A graduate of the cultural anthropology department of the University of Warsaw, he’s in charge of the Museum’s development and communications.
