National Geographic Best Photo Competition juror. Cinematographer, screenwriter, feature and documentary director, two-time recipient of the cinematography award at the Gdynia Film Festival and the Bronze Frog at Camerimage, three-time nominee to the Eagles and the Romanian GOPO award. Member of the Polish and European Film Academies. Recipient of numerous documentary awards at festivals in Karlovy Vary, Berlin, Chicago, Leipzig, Nyon, Krakow, Tampere, Tehran, Trento, and elsewhere. His best-known works include “Such a Nice Boy I Gave Birth To”, “Existence”, “User-Friendly Death”, “Till It Hurts”, “Let’s Run Away from Her”, “Declaration of Immortality”, and “Lust Killer”.
