Zlota
An austere and intimate portrait of a neighbourhood community. The main protagonists are 35-year-old Krzysztof and his wife Ida. Krzysztof inherited a tenement house in Zlota Street in the heart of Warsaw from his Jewish ancestors. The realty has been restored to the descendants of its lawful owners during the reprivatization process. Krzysztof manages it with his wife Ida. Their story intermingles with the stories of their multi-cultural neighbours, such asa 94-year-old retired accountant, an Afghani man with a Ukrainian wife or a refugee from Syria. „Zlota Street” is a story about looking for your own place in the world and a painful relationship study.
