In Polish only

Partner: Culture Zone Wrocław

This year’s edition of European Literature Night will be held on May 25th in the Wrocław Grunwaldzki Square. The event’s motto is: "The classics revisited". This year’s programme, composed by curator Justyna Sobolewska, is focused on new translations of classic European poetry. The selected works will be presented, according to tradition, by ten renowned personalities from literary circles. During a prologue to the event, held as part of the Millenium Docs Against Gravity Festival, the on-screen story of Vladimir Putin, “the Devil of the Kremlin”, will be commented on with the use of a classic piece of Russian literature, Fyodor Dostoyevsky’s "Demons".
