The Senior Citizens’ Academy of Documentary Films invites audiences to watch two films selected by a renowned and esteemed Wrocław film expert Jacek Szymański, experienced member of film societies and tutor of the Senior Citizens’ Film Club. On Tuesday, movie goers will have a chance to take a closer look at the vanishing traditional practice of Macedonian apiarists. Bee-keepers adhering to traditional methods have for centuries deemed the respect for their bees a crucial component of their work. Now, they are pushed out of the market by the new generation who treats the insects as subjects and slaves.
