The Experiment section showcases classic and more recent avant-garde films dealing with themes of physicality and sexuality, and their cultural, social, and economic context. This
section is chiefly a platform for female directors. It combines films and video art, both Polish and international.

The Experiment section heralds an avant-garde film program organized by Fundacja Okonakino and the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw. It consists of workshops and lectures addressed to
students and anyone interested in broadening their knowledge about film and audiovisual projects. The avant-garde film academy is cofunded by the City of Warsaw.
