In a hypnotic and full of grotesque style, Siergiej Łoźnica (“Łagodna”, “We mgle”, “Szczęście ty moje”), and his latest feature film “Donbas”, take us on a journey through the circles of hell of the hybrid war in Eastern Ukraine. Łoźnica’s creation is a story of modern humankind and civilization in the era of post-truth and fake news. The movie won the Un Certain Regard section prize for the best director at the 71st Cannes Film Festival.
