Home floraria or „pieces of forest in jars” are a visually spectacular alternative to potted plants. If maintained with care, they are a long-lasting joy to the eyes, and a beautiful adornment of even the most demanding spaces. Living plants and colourful additions inside a transparent jar are a fascinating miniature ecosystem. During the workshop you will have a chance to learn about the history of world’s first home florarium, and the principal guidelines for keeping your own piece of forest. Participants will then create their own customised floral jars they can take home once the workshop is over.
